Conrad Living Life

I came across this sticker while in California on vacation. It says so much to what the Community of Refuge believes and wants to be about. Community is about building strong lasting relationships with people, not trying to live the rules of organized religion. The Community of Refuge seeks to tell people about Jesus Christ through their lives and the way in which we interact with people and nature. Jesus Christ is our example of how to have relationships with people. He knew what people needed and listened to them and provided for them. Many people have only sought others for what they can receive, but Jesus sought so that He may give. In a relationship we are to give of ourselves so that people will grow. Religion is man made it can not fully comprehend the wisdom and knowledge of God. Only when we are in an intimate relationship with Him will this be revealed to us. For example a husband and wife share a special bond and relationship with each other. They know the entire intimate details of the others life and this gives them an open door to their thought, dreams hopes and fears. God wants to share Himself with us and He wants us to share our life with Him. Religion will only get us so far and frustrate us. We can go so much deeper in life if we open the fortresses that we have placed in our lives and learn to be in relationship with people nature and God.
